MANAGING INTERNATIONALISATION AND THE SHARE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
As a part of SHARE’s initiatives to engage with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Singapore and Brunei Darussalam to participate in the SHARE Programme, SHARE held the second Intra ASEAN Mobility Focus Group on 10 December 2019, at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), in Brunei Darussalam.
The workshop was attended by IRO representatives from UTB, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Politeknik Brunei (PB) as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education and European Union Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam. In this workshop, SHARE received useful inputs particularly on mobility scheme that can support SHARE in preparing for the second phase of SHARE. Apart from this, student representatives from UBD were also invited and shared their experiences during their participation at the Second SHARE Student Mobility and Alumni Workshop held last August in Jakarta.
With the workshops held in Singapore and Brunei Darussalam, SHARE is hoping that HEIs in both countries are encouraged to participate in the programme in order to further harmonising higher education in the ASEAN region.
